Saeger Readers

Each year students all over Missouri read the Truman nominee books and vote on their favorite. Students must read at least 4 books to qualify for voting. The author of the winning book is awarded The Truman Readers Award at Missouri's  annual school librarian conference.

How to Participate:
 1.  Read one of the nominated books. You can mix and match Truman books and Mark Twain books.

2. To get points for reading, students make real-world connections to the book on our Saeger Reader's Google Classroom.  Students may also write or type their connections and turn them in to the Learning Commons.

Students will write a book-to-self, book-to-book, and book-to-world connection for each novel they read.  1-2 sentences per connection is just fine!

The code to join our Google Classroom is jfgm7ek

Prizes:
1 book: gum or mints
