Mark Twain Readers

Each year students all over Missouri read the Mark Twain nominee books and vote on their favorite. Students must read at least 4 books to qualify for voting. The author of the winning book is awarded The Mark Twain Readers Award at Missouri's  annual school librarian conference. 

How to Participate:
 1.  Read one of the nominated books. You can mix and match Truman books and Mark Twain books.
2. Take the quiz on Google Classroom after you read the book. 
 The code to join our Google Classroom is 4w0npg. 
3. Score at least 3 out of 5 on the quiz to "show you read" the book. 
4.  Receive a prize for each book you read, up to 4. 
5. Read 4 books to come to our end of year pizza party! Vote for your favorite book in March. 
6. Read 6 or more books to be eligible to join our Battle of the Books field trip
