Principals
Dr. Amie Bemke - Principal
Dr. Bemke is the Principal of Saeger Middle School starting her career in Francis Howell during the 2023-2024 school. Previously, she served as an assistant principal at Pattonville Heights Middle School in the Pattonville School District and Fort Zumwalt North Middle School in the Fort Zumwalt School District. Dr. Bemke has also served as an Area Coordinator for the Special School District of St. Louis County for six years, working in the Pattonville School District. She also worked as a special education teacher for eight years at Pattonville High School, co-teaching in the Math, Science, and History departments. Dr. Bemke holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education and cross-categorical special education from Fontbonne University. She also holds a master's degree in computer education from Fontbonne University and a master's degree in educational administration from Lindenwood University. Dr. Bemke completed her Educational Specialist degree in the Fall of 2018 and her Doctorate in Leadership in Teaching and Learning in December 2022, both received from Missouri Baptist University. Dr. Bemke enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family, supporting them in soccer and dance.
Dr. Katie Robson - Assistant Principal
Dr. Katie Robson serves as Saeger Middle School’s Assistant Principal. Previously she worked at Barnwell Middle School as a reading teacher and school counselor. Dr. Robson completed her undergraduate degree at University of Central Missouri, her master’s degree at University of Missouri- St. Louis, and her doctoral degree at Maryville University. In her free time she enjoys being with her nieces and nephews, listening to live music, and watching sports.
Sarah Whalen - Assistant Principal
Sarah Whalen is joining Saeger Middle School as Assistant Principal, bringing with her a blend of administrative and teaching experience. With five years of administrative experience in the Fort Zumwalt School District, Sarah has demonstrated strong leadership and dedication to education. Before transitioning to administration, she spent eight years as a classroom teacher at North Middle School, specializing in Special Education and English Language Arts. Sarah holds a bachelor's degree in secondary education and a master's degree in school administration, both from Lindenwood University. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys traveling with her husband and spending quality time with her family.
